Learning networks has given me a tremendous pool of knowledge. I have come to know so much, and as of this year, I will finally go about where I truly want to take my tech career, software development and cloud devops.

A History Of My Development Fascination

In 2009, as a youngin in high school, I remember seeing this senior who would stay later after his programming class, and he would be overlapping with my engineering class. The senior sat two seats from me, but what caught my eye was the coding he was doing. Keep in mind, I was a freshman, still new to my classes…but I saw this dude code this 2D

platform fighting game he was working on, every day, and I was hooked after that. There was a C++ class that he took there, and when I found that out, I went and looked around the internet about C++, searching Youtube videos, and seeing what it is and how I could learn this.

Around 2010, I discovered one of my favorite Youtube channels at the time, Elysian Shadows. This Youtube channel actually had an older name, but on their channel, they documented almost every step of the way as they were coding and developing their own game; their series name…
