Networking During the Rise of AI
We’re all seeing it happening. We were hearing some say that Ai was a buzz word, some would say it was just a passing fad, but we have heard these stories once before. We’ve heard this story with the personal computer, with the internet, with Bitcoin and Blockchain, and now with Artificial Intelligence. Each of these new rising technologies ended up changing society in ways we have not seen. AI is another technology that will pave the way for more advancements that will change our lives, and it was thanks to open source software that society can finally move forward.
I Started Around the Automation Era in Networking
When I was first getting into IT, while learning how to get in, it was around 2017–2018. Around that time, the networking space was going into this automation era.
Cisco went heavy in automation with their introduction of the DevNet track, and being able to communicate with our network devices through programming and APIs.
