Creating Your Azure Virtual Network
Hello, everyone! In today article, we are going to get started on creating your Azure virtual network.
What is a Azure Virtual Network(VNET)? A virtual network is your own virtualized network that you can create, to separate yourself from the pack on the Azure cloud. Azure is large, with many networks owned by many corporations, small businesses, schools, and even individuals like you, the “labber” haha!
CREATING THE RESOURCE GROUP
Before we start creating and engineering anything, create a Resource Group. You can find resource groups by typing it in the search bar at the top. Everything related to our virtual network will be in this resource group. Let’s make things organized this way!
Let’s hit “Create” to create our resource group and give it a name. I am calling mines ‘levestondesigns-vnet’, but you can give yours any name you want. All of the resources within our virtual network is going into this resource group.
